My name is Eddie Roosenmaallen. I am a senior developer and release manager at Kings Distributed Systems, working on the Distributed Compute Protocol for Distributed Compute Labs. We are building — without exaggeration — a next-generation super computer. This is a very exciting time to be a software developer!
Some current (work-related) projects:
- Secure Network Overlay — a secure environment for processing sensitive data via DCP, with control over where your data lives and is processed, without giving up the benefits of being part of the wider DCP ecosystem
- DiskFit - use DCP to search the universe for dark matter
- Compute API
Some (not-work-related) projects:
Procedurally-generated model of a plausible galaxy. Currently limited to lenticular (bulge+disk, but no spiral arms) shape. The intent is to build a TraadeWars 2002-meets-No Man's Sky game/experience atop it, targeting both human players and AI/ML researchers.
